This marketing toolkit provided NPR stations that hosted the event locally with the ability to use and customize read-to-use promotional materials such as a poster, an invitation, a self-standing event banners, and giveaways: author stat cards and promotional baseball bat pens. The package ensured that all stations — even poor ones — could effectively promote the event, and that brand consistency was maintained across markets. Other promotional efforts were produced to complement local marketing: on-air announcements, local media relation, and when possible, sponsorship from a local retailer.
