National Public Radio: Brand Extension Animation

When National Public Radio entered the satellite radio space, its programs were carried on two Sirius Radio channels: NPR Talk and NPR Now. We used brand extension to impart NPR’s brand recognition and attributes to these two new properties, much like “Discovery Health” or “Coke Light” inherited their DNA from their respective mother brand. This animation was developed to capture this process and inform stakeholders that NPR on satellite radio would equal the quality of NPR on the radio.
