The Mohave desert and a firemen training center were perfect locations to re-create a broadcast production set and a war zone. We were able to display the benefits of a portable satellite phone that allows users to continue working while talking — like a regular phone, becoming an essential tool of the trade, not just an emergency device. In remote locations, other “satphones” require users to stop and install a suitcase-size device in order to place the call. (War zone shots were in the end not used in any materials.)
