The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) lobbies on the behalf of the private water service industry. Its agenda concentrates on regulated drinking water ownership and waste water issues, as well as public-private partnerships and management contract arrangements. In addition to the site’s new design and new information architecture, online advocacy tools (powered by Vocus) were integrated into the Members section. These tools enable authenticated users to track legislation in Congress, consult the voting record of legislators, generate customized email and postal mailings directed at key congressional members, and send emails to galvanize public support favoring or opposing legislation.
