Part of re-branding the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) is to re-design the mark. While its acronym may eventually stand for a different name (e.g. “Climate Change Action and Policy”) in order to better capture its current mission, the “CCAP” name has gained brand equity since the center’s founding — equity worth preserving and building upon. For that reason alone, the Center’s new logo design should be conceived around the CCAP letters, demonstrating an example of brand evolution, not revolution. These logo studies show a range of new design possibilities.
